SAM IT expands its presense in UK Web startup support

Once more, SAM Information Technologies, is being trusted in development and design of a brand new product by a new UK Web startup based in London. All we can say right now, other than making this short announcement, is that this product is going to be a refreshment to the current startup scene. While the product aims youth in London, target is to expand the presence once the project reaches the production.

Local eCommerce app for Computer Equipment enters the second phase

We are finally seeing some visible progress on the best to be eCommerce Web Application available for the local Serbian market. Our customer aims to have the best offer of computer hardware in Serbia with a goal to reach more than 10,000 articles! The app is currently available at our test server at www.prodajaracunara.rs, while we will migrate most probably to RackSpace in order to have access to the cloud.

This application is architectured as an eCommerce management system where sales of computer hardware is just a market this customer chose to go with. If the customer decides to quit the hardware business and goes into the fashion industry, all they will need to do is to get new design and start getting articles into the database.

Technologies underlying the application are Ruby On Rails, Scriptaculous JavaScript Library, MySQL, and Ajax. We will revisit this topic when we officially launch. Design, code, and content is currently a subject of copyright by SAM IT.

Just a quick note: We are undergoing development for a eCommerce Web Application for a local client. Design is all ready, while development is in a full blown phase right now. We decided to go for Ruby on Rails platform with MySQL database. Ajax is, of course, a must.

IT Production is honored to announce successful launch of Skystack site after working on its design for the past two months. We were trusted by Skystack founder, Tass Skoudros, to help identify concept and visual identity of the site.

Skystack is a cloud computing management platform delivered as a SaaS solution. Skystack solution offers their customers easy access to deploy, configure and manage their services in multiple clouds.

Skystack will be exhibiting in the Cloud Computing World – Europe 2009 Expo at the Millenium Mayfair hotel in London. IT Production design team is responsible for Skystack stand design for the Expo. We will post photo of the stand as soon as the Expo begins.

Survey Builder Software Quickker.com Launched

Quickker.com, our survey builder software that has been in massive production over the past three months has finally landed as Beta. I have waited for this announcement for two days to make sure that everything goes smooth. And so far so good! Our existing clients who were using pre-beta versions, Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Economics, and iFront Internet Conference, had no distractions in conducting their existing surveys, while they are more than please with the pack of features we just released, such as:

- Improved and even more powerful analytics

- Export to XML

- New types of Survey authentication (now we cover 4 types)

- Improved User Experience

- Powerful branding features

- and many other small features which fitted nicely into the existing workflow.

We are currently on a silent mission of getting more clients from Serbia, a region we are using for our smaller upgrades and new releases before we launch World wide. The reason for this is that we have a controlled environment and a possibility to meet face to face with clients. Opportunity of meeting clients face to face at this early stage of this new project of hours gives us options to better tune our software and to learn better of what client needs.

Quickker is a Survey Builder Software intended for small and medium sized businesses, entrepreneurs, organizations, students, universities and other audiences which are in need of a convinient way to create surveys, manage their respondents, collect, compare, and track responses, with mix of features such as branding of surveys and powerful analytics.

This past Monday (September 14th, 2009) we had a silent launch of our new system in to accommodate a research conducted by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade. So far so good, systems seams to be working without distractions, our logs do not show any flaws, and therefore, we are getting ready for the public Beta launch on the 1st of October.
